Mass Home Comfort is a free directory of home-improvement contractors across all 351 Massachusetts cities and towns. The site is built around two things: helping homeowners find the right contractor for their project, and helping local contractors get seen without paying for placement.

Listings are free. Every contractor with a working business email can be listed at no cost — there is no pay-to-play. Homeowners can browse, call directly, and never share their contact details with us at all if they prefer to handle outreach on their own.

When a homeowner does want quotes faster, they can use the estimate form. Contractors in the right trade see the project and the town, without the homeowner’s name or contact details. The ones who want the job, up to the number the homeowner chooses, get the homeowner’s name, phone and email and contact them directly; the homeowner decides who to hire, or hires no one. Mass Home Comfort is free for homeowners. We share your details only with the contractors you ask for quotes from or book a visit with. We never give them to anyone else, apart from the hashed (scrambled) form we use to measure our ads in ChatGPT and on Facebook and Instagram: if you arrive from one of those ads, your email, phone and name are shared in that form with the advertising platform so we can measure the campaign; the privacy page has the details.

The site is run independently and built around Massachusetts- specific context — Mass Save rebates, Municipal Light Plant towns, local permitting, and the actual housing stock in each part of the state.
