  • Federal 25C tax credit. The Energy Efficiency Home Improvement Credit, which covered 30 percent of qualifying ENERGY STAR Most Efficient window costs (capped at $600 per year) for windows installed through December 31, 2025, expired for property placed in service after that date, per the IRS.
